Day 13
It was the last few hours of my time in our lovely big mansion in Vung Tau :'(
I woke up and packed all my things, ran up and down the stairs a couple more times for the last time. Ate, watched tv for the rest of my time remaining until the taxi driver came.
Ugh, I was so pissed at my mother because she didn't wanna boat it back to Saigon because when we boated it to Vung Tau she got a headache, so this time we taxied it.
God knows how long it took! I am the most impatient person on this planet and there was a massive traffic jam, traffic JAM. No one moved for about an hour. I was boiling up inside..
And when we got a chance to move an inch, we moved an inch.. And that was it.
I swear, I was gonna lose it. To make matters worse, the only thing keeping me sane ♪♫
RAN OUTTA FUCKEN BATTERY!
Well after about 50 million hours, we got to the city centre of Saigon to get a drink, hopped back in the taxi and made our way to the airport.
Yeah, I thought we were heading back to Saigon too. But nope, I was wrong.
More places to go, more planes and taxi's, yay.
This time we were headed to Da Nang, it was an hour and something minute flight from Saigon.
When we got to Da Nang, I was so sick of taxi's I told mum I was gonna walk.
She agreed because our hotel was only 1km away according to google maps.
WELL GOOGLE CAN SUCK MY FAT COCK! (Not really, because I'd be lost without it)
Because if that's what you call 1km, then 1m = 100m!
While I was walking and dragging my fat luggage on the ground, every car that passed asked if my mother and I wanted a ride. "NO" Then the next car pulls up, "NO" and the next.. "NO"
So while I was struggling to walk straight, I was saying "NO" continuously.
"NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO.."
You get the picture.
Finally got to our hotel after that murdering"1km". I was so happy, I jumped for joyyyyy!
Our hotel here, was much better than our hotel back in Singapore :)
Jumped around on the beds for a bit, chillaxed, went for a walk around the block to grab dinner at a nice looking restaurant with crappy tasting food and headed back to the hotel.
Last night was one of the greatest nights I've had this year. I got to talk and see my beautiful best friend in London. She had just got her braces taken off and looked more stunning than ever! We used to look like twins, but now she's way too beautiful to look like me.
It was so good to hear her voice, her accent.. 8-) her smile, her pretty face, her pearly whites!
We talked for about 3 hours straight on oovoo, it was 2AM in Vietnam and 6AM in Adelaide.
I still sleep by Adelaide time, so I was dead tired by the end of our convo.
I felt quite empty when we finished our short talk.. Yeah, it was short for me because we used to see each other every day and talk about everything and yeah, quite depressing.
Updated her a bit on a few things that had happened this year from what my brain could remember, which is not a lot if you know me.. Damn you goldfish syndrome head.
We arranged a date for tonight, so I'm pretty jolly about that :)
Missing you tossers back in Adelaide,
Love, Moonie ♥
